Picture of Me with a City background

Hey, I am Wojciech Gładysz

Poznań University of Technology student pursuing a Master's degree in Cybersecurity. By day, I work as a Power BI Analyst.

My Certifications

TryHackMe Cyber Security 101

Foundational knowledge bridging offensive hacking techniques and defensive monitoring strategies.

Covered networking, Linux command-line, web security, and cryptography. Gained hands-on experience identifying vulnerabilities and understanding basic Security Operations Center (SOC) procedures.

More info about this certification

TryHackMe Jr Penetration Tester

Practical offensive security path focused on identifying and exploiting infrastructure and web application vulnerabilities.

Mastered tools like Nmap and Burp Suite. Conducted manual testing and automated scanning for critical flaws like SQL Injection, XSS, and IDOR while following industry-standard penetration testing frameworks.

More info about this certification

TryHackMe SOC Level 1

Operational defensive security training for detecting, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats.

Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Elastic), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), network traffic analysis, and alert triage. Applied frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK to investigate real-world phishing and malware scenarios.

More info about this certification

Cisco IT Essentials

Comprehensive foundation in computer hardware, software, and fundamental IT troubleshooting.

Developed practical skills in assembling computers, installing operating systems, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Explored basic network connectivity and foundational security concepts.

Cisco Networking Basics

Foundational understanding of network architectures, models, and data routing protocols.

Learned how data travels across the internet, the function of key network components (routers, switches), and the OSI and TCP/IP models. Configured basic local area networks (LANs) and implemented basic network security.

Power BI - Santander Open Academy

Data analysis and visualization certification focused on turning raw data into actionable insights.

Learned to clean and transform data using the Power Query editor, model relationships, and build interactive dashboards to identify trends, performance metrics, and bottlenecks.

My projects

STAYSEE - hackathon project

image showing me and my team working on this hackaton project

A zero-trust supply chain security tool that uses eBPF kernel monitoring to catch malicious code hidden in Go dependencies during testing.

Built for the PUT Cyber Days Hackathon. STAYSEE turns your existing Go test suite into a deterministic security policy. Instead of relying on traditional signature-based scanners that miss dormant malware, it uses eBPF (Tetragon) to intercept system calls, file access, and network operations at the kernel level. This builds a trusted behavioral baseline for your workloads, instantly flagging supply-chain anomalies.

Secure IoT Weather Station

raspberry pi logo

A secure IoT weather station built with an ESP32 and a Raspberry Pi, developed as part of an international IoT security program.

An environmental monitoring system where an ESP32 gathers sensor data and transmits it wirelessly to a Raspberry Pi running a local Flask server. Developed in collaboration with an international team (UMONS & PUT), the project emphasizes IoT security architecture. It features lightweight protection mechanisms, a deployed Cowrie honeypot, and controlled vulnerabilities (such as SQL Injection) designed for Blue/Red Team ethical hacking exercises.

Virtual Alcohol Gallery

A 3D OpenGL interactive gallery featuring movement, drinking mechanics, and visual distortion effects.

View on GitHub

Built for a Computer Graphics and Visualization course using C++ and OpenGL. It utilizes GLFW, GLEW, and custom GLSL shaders to simulate intoxication through screen distortions and impaired controls when the player drinks, alongside a smoking mechanic.

Falling Sand Simulation

A simple and colorful falling sand simulator built with Python.

View on GitHub

Developed using Python and the PyGame library. The project focuses on rendering a smooth, grid-based particle simulation where different colors of sand fall and stack dynamically.

Drawing App

A digital drawing application built in Python featuring standard painting tools.

View on GitHub

Developed as a project to learn and practice using the Tkinter library. Features include variable pencil sizes, a color picker with an eyedropper tool, a paint bucket for filling enclosed areas which uses Flood fill algorithm, an undo function, and the ability to open and save artwork.

LSB Steganography & Steganalysis

image showcasing the steganography web application interface

A full-stack Streamlit web application demonstrating LSB image steganography, perceptual distortion metrics (MSE & PSNR), and advanced statistical steganalysis techniques.

View on GitHub

This educational tool provides hands-on experience with information hiding and detection. It allows users to embed and extract secret messages from lossless images while visualizing the perceptual and statistical impact. The application features distortion metric calculations (MSE & PSNR), pixel intensity histogram comparisons, LSB bit-plane visualizations, and implements advanced detection algorithms like the Chi-Square Pairs-of-Values (PoV) test and RS Analysis to detect hidden data.

Chess Game

  checkmate

A fully functional classic chess game built in C using the SDL2 library.

View on GitHub

Developed as a project to practice C programming and game development logic. It uses the SDL2 library for rendering window graphics, managing custom piece textures, and handling user inputs, complete with an interactive turn indicator.

About Me

General info

I am a passionate IT professional interested in Data Analysis, Cybersecurity and Computer science in general. I am constantly expanding my knowledge in cybersecurity, eagerly exploring both defensive and offensive concepts as I build my expertise using platform like TryHackMe or HackTheBox.

What i enjoy in Cybersecurity is how much more you can learn about how computers and technology operate!

Education

I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Poznań University of Technology, right now i am doing my master's degree in Cybersecurity there

Current job

As a Power BI Analyst, I transform complex data from the Business Central ERP into actionable business insights. Using DAX, Power Query and Power BI interface, I build interactive dashboards and automate reporting workflows to drive informed decision-making.

Fun stuff

Besides tech, I love mountains! In the photo, behind me, you can see the city of Bilbao as well as Mount Pagasarri, which I had the pleasure of hiking. :)

Let's Connect

I am currently open to new opportunities. Whether you have a question, a project proposition, or just want to say hi, feel free to reach out!
